Sea Glass Chronicles: Whispers from the Past
Author Carole Lambert, who found and collected all the pieces in this volume, leads you through the worlds of archaeology, science, adventure, and the arts found on every shoreline in the form of sea glass and ceramic shards. Pat Hanbery’s creatively composed photos of the pieces in their littoral settings delight the eye with colors and textures, while Lambert entertains and enlightens you with the true tales of the origins of each shard, such as the story behind the design of the original Coke bottle and the meaning of the design on Blue Willow pottery. Though her research was meticulous, Lambert’s voice is friendly; these pages present a colorful, fun, and out-of-the-ordinary journey of discovery.
