MARCELA ROSEMBERG:
Marcela Rosemberg was born in 1958 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Art has been a part of her for as long as she can remember. Her love for glass began when she started experiencing the magic of fusing and kilnforming. She realized then that it was going to be her every day source of energy. "And it is!"
In 2003 Marcela emmigrated to Canada and established her studio in Stratford, Prince Edward Island, where she is constantly looking for that special blend of colours and textures that leads her to each piece of glass she carefully designs. Beauty, simplicity, elegance and function are essential components in her fused glass work.
Marcela specializes in exquisite handmade bowls, sushi sets, plates, platters, trays, paperweights, candlesticks, jewelry, Judaica Art for Jewish ceremonial life, architectural pieces and corporate gifts.
Her work can be found in public and private collections in Canada and the United States.
Nature, her Jewish faith and her own sensitivity are the things that give her the possibility to express her emotions. In few words "She spreads her wings and flies"!
