Ramona Bachman, a native Mainer, creates her hand-made mittens and scarves from recycled woolens: sweaters, blankets, jackets. Inspired by her mother's crazy quilts, every pair of mittens, each scarf, is entirely different, a "crazy" patchwork of color and pattern.

Ramona’s mittens are lined with recycled fleece, providing enough warmth to stave off even the coldest Maine weather. Each pair is adorned with vintage or unusual buttons that complement the design or color. An additional small shirt-button is added on the wrist side of each mitten to keep the cuff neatly in place.

Ramona’s quilts are equally charming and embellished with vintage buttons. Quilts are available in all sizes from throws to king sizes.
